Develops new general business market accounts by providing telephone lines, mobility, IP products, web hosting, conferencing and other services. May be assigned a key account, group of accounts, or specific geographic area. This is done by building contacts with customers by being regularly available and responsive to their business needs. Also provides pre and post-sale customer support. Demonstrates basic knowledge of AT&Ts entire product line; may have more in-depth knowledge on a subset of products or services. Sells in accordance with company policy, procedures and culture. Work performed under general direction. Implements plans and actions. Contributes to the strategic plan. Expectations are that new lines, Mobility sets, and IP products such as MIS, IPFlex and VDNA will be acquired through a consultative business problem solving methodology that will enable the sale of multiple products to a single account.
